The Yerwal Estate Angus Stud On Property Sale has been occurring in early February each year since 2000, at 199 Lawrey’s Road, Lucindale, South Australia. Over the years, the sale has developed a quiet reputation as the place to purchase quality, high performing Angus sires with proven genetics supported by strong performance data.
Buyers know that Yerwal Estate Angus Bull Sales represent outstanding value. Repeat buyers have been attending the sale since its inception and this only occurs as they have realised the benefits of using Yerwal Estate Angus Bulls commercially. Yerwal Estate has also sold sires into a number of Angus Studs based in the Southern states of Australia.

Need a bull outside of the bull selling season? Yerwal Estate also has a number of bulls available outside of the sale each year for prospective purchasers. All bulls sold out of the paddock are Vet Checked, Scanned, Semen and Morphology tested, and vaccinated for 7-1, Pesti-virus, Vibrio, 3-day, and Botulism. Prices typically range from $5000 to $8000, with bulls available at the ages of 15 to 22 months.
Due to the size of the operation and the fact that Yerwal also runs a commercial herd Angus, females are also often available. Prospective buyers are encouraged to visit Yerwal Estate Angus and visually inspect the entire herd to assist with making any purchasing decision.

Yerwal Estate operates an extensive and comprehensive artificial breeding program each year. Numerous embryos and semen straws are typically on-hand and available to both the stud breeder and commercial beef producer.

His sire is the well-proven Baldridge Beast Mode, who is renowned for calving ease, high growth, and excellent feet. His dam is none other than Texas Undine H647, who just happens to be the dam of the record breaking Texas Iceman, sold for $225,000, and Texas Powerplay, sold to Kelly Angus in 2020 for $108,000.
His breedplan is also quite exceptional. + 7.8 for calving ease direct (excellent for heifers) through to top 1% of the breed for all growth traits, finishing at +164 for 600 days; add this to his great carcass and structural data, makes for an extremely complete sire prospect. We eagerly await the chance to offer a large line of his sons in the future.
